Vibraphonist Burton nahm ‘Duster’ 1967 für RCA mit Musikern wie Larry Coryell, Steve Swallow und Roy Haynes auf und gilt als eines der ersten Jazz Fusion Alben. Auf ‘Country Roads & Other Places’ ersetzte Jerry Hahn Larry Coryell an der Gitarre. Das Album aus 1969 ist eine tolle Mischung aus Jazz mit Elementen aus Country, Pop und Klassik.
