Phil Collins begann seine Karriere als Schlagzeuger in der Band Genesis. Dort entwickelte er auch seine Leidenschaft zum Gesang. Er schrieb ein paar Stücke und brachte diese im Programm von Genesis unter. Als diese Songs zu Mega-Erfolgen wurden, beschloss Phil Collins die Band zu verlassen, um eine Solokarriere als Sänger zu starten. Seitdem hat er riesigen Erfolg und ist ein absoluter Superstar und Ausnahmemusiker.
